About me

Jennifer fitzgerald

Hi, I’m Jenn. As a well-being facilitator, I create retreats and workshops to empower others on a journey of meaningful and lasting self care.

Originally from Maine, USA, I’ve called Ireland home for over 30 years. I’m a wife and mother of two, and a lifelong lover of water, nature, and connection. For the past 15 years, I’ve worked as a swimming teacher, sharing my passion for the water with others, and gaining valuable insight through working with all ages and stages. I have learned to meet people where they’re at on their journey, an approach that now flows through everything I do. Just as I guided those learning to swim with patience and presence, my work as a life coach is rooted in the same belief that lasting change begins with meeting ourselves with compassion, wherever we are.

My Path

With a BA in Psychology and an Advanced Diploma in Holistic Lifestyle and Nutrition Coaching, I combine evidence based practices with a grounded, heart-led approach to well-being. I believe wellness isn’t about extremes—it’s about small, consistent changes that feel sustainable and kind.

My path has not been straightforward. Some of the most transformative parts of my journey have been personal: a trans-continental move in my early 20’s, navigating bankruptcy with my husband while raising a young family, and healing my relationship with food after years of disordered eating. These experiences taught me resilience, self-compassion, and the deep importance of reconnecting with our bodies and ourselves in a gentle, respectful way.

My Values

I deeply value community, and see it as a cornerstone of well-being. Whether it’s sharing food at a retreat, gathering for reflection in The Pause, or coming together creatively in a seasonal workshop, I believe well-being is amplified when we experience it together.

What nourishes me? Open water swimming, hiking, baking, and spending time with my family and two lovely dogs. These joys inspire how I live—and how I support others.

If my approach resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s connect and explore how I can support you, your group, or your team in living well, together.
